START WITH WHY
(THE GOLDEN CIRCLE)
When we first discovered Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle, as he so eloquently describes in his Start With Why book and Tedx Presentation, it resonated with us so much that we knew it had to be part of our own methodology. We use it not just in how we market ourselves, but as a subliminal part of how we take our clients’ brands to the next level. Whenever possible we directly integrate this concept into our discovery and brand-bulding strategy solutions.
While we would like to follow this methodology on every project, we recognize that often times aggressive project timelines and modest budgets do not allow for a client to take a step back and examine their entire organization’s business and marketing approach. We do, however, believe that it is a crucial step in truly moving a brand to the next level.
In the essence of time, we will not go into details about it here but if there is interest in learning more, we will be happy to elaborate and hopefully work with you to discover your “why”.
CREATIVE PROCESS
When taking on a rebranding project, or any creative adventure, we like to develop a roadmap so we have a clear path to our final destination. We do this with a Three Phase Creative Process that provides us with the best possible information to build our creative strategy.
PHASE 1 : Q&A
We spend our first meeting with you asking lots of questions and listening to the answers. This helps us understand your business so we can conduct research and explore creative trends that will best fit this project.
PHASE 1.5 : FIRST STEPS
In this phase we go one step further into our understanding your needs by getting to know what you like, what you don’t and what direction you see the project taking. We’ll provide some general inspiration and watch for honest feedback on style, color, theme and more. This half-step makes the jump to Phase 2 much more effective and on target!
PHASE 2 : CREATIVE DIRECTION
Now we are ready to present initial concepts, recommendations and preliminary visuals for your brand. We’ll ask for brutally honest feedback and work collaboratively to fine tune the concepts into a finished result that meets all the project goals.
PHASE 3 : ROLLOUT
Once the approvals are complete, our creative team will apply the new creative to all the specified deliverables, making sure to work closely with you along the way until everything is complete.
